Passenger Assistant/Customer Service

Bournemouth

  • Salary: Starting Salary from £7.20 per hour increasing to £8.00 after 12 weeks

Rock Recruitment Solutions are looking for a Passenger Assistant to join one of the leading UK based airport company - serving the whole community. Manchester Airports Group (M.A.G) serve around 52 million passengers every year and handling 600,000 tonnes of air freight every year, through its ownership and operation of Manchester, London Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth airports.

We are looking for seasonal staff to help within the terminal through the summer season and help provide passengers with excellent service and experience!

Seasonal Contract starting March 2018 for the Season until October/ November 2018

Shift pattern including early and night shifts

Transport is needed due to the location but staff car parking is available on site.

If you have experience working within retail, hospitality, office or warehouse then your transferable skills will be suitable for the role.

To be considered for the role you will have to have the following skills and experience:

" Able to make customers and passengers feel at ease and build rapport easily

" Experience of working team environment

" You must be reliable and motivated with the ability to work under pressure

" Flexibility, friendliness and willingness to help

Your duties will include:

" Face to face customer service

" Assisting customers with disabilities adhering to health and safety regulations

" Assisting passengers with reduced mobility

" Heavy lifting

Due to the nature of the role we ask for applicants to have NO pre booked holiday.

A CRB check will be undertaken and 5 year working history references will be required prior to you commencing work and the offer of employment will be subject to receiving this on time.
